Chemistry place an important role to improve the quality of our life unfortunately due to this achievement our health and global environment under threat . Also , due to increase in human population and the industrial revolution ,  energy crisis and environmental pollution are highlighted major global problems in the 21st century . To minimize the problem of energy crisis and pollution , we have to adapted green chemistry .
Green chemistry is an approach to chemistry that aims to maximize efficiency and minimize hazardous effects on human health and environment .
This concept was coined by the green chemistry by Paul T . Anastas .


Definition of green chemistry is the use of chemistry for pollution prevention by environmental conscious design of chemical production and process is that reduce our any minute the use of generation of hazardous substance .

Green Chemistry is to reduce the impact of energy crisis , pollution and to save natural resources , we need to implement 12 principles of green chemistry enunciation wherever possible .

1st - Prevention of waste of by products

To give the priority for the prevention of waste rather than cleaning up and treating waste after it has been created .

2nd - Atom economy

Atom economy is a major of the amount of atoms from the starting material that are present in the useful products at the end of chemical process .
Good atom economy means most of the reactants are incorporated in the desired products and only small amounts of unwanted by products are formed and hence problems of waste disposal .

3rd - Less hazardous chemical synthesis

Design chemical reactions and synthesis routes should be as safe as possible.
So that we can avoid formation of hazardous waste from the chemical process .

4 - Designing safer chemicals

Designing safer chemicals is quite familiar to the let's hazardous chemical synthesis . To develop products that  is not toxic materials.

What is nano science ?
Nano science is the study of phenomena and manipulation of materials at atomic morni pila and macro molecules cares wear properties differ significantly from those at a large scale .


Nanotechnology is defined as. :- Nanotechnology is the design , characteration , production and application of structures device and system by controlling shape and size at nanometre scale .
